Calling for AKB48 fans in Malaysia! The legendary Japanese girl group will be coming to Kuala Lumpur this July to perform and meet fans at the Japan Expo Malaysia 2026!
Japan Expo Malaysia 2026 recently announced that AKB48 will perform at its event at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). The concert will take place on 25th July 2026 (Saturday) at Hall 6. The performance will feature six members: Akiyama Yuna (秋山由奈), Sae Arai (新井彩永), Narumi Kuranoo (倉野尾成美), Airi Sato (佐藤綺星), Shitao Mio (下尾みう), Azuki Yagi (八木愛月).
Tickets for the show start from RM180, with VIP packages available. There are also tons of exciting fan benefits available, including group photo opportunities and a send-off event. There are also chances to win a special t-shirt with all of the participating members’ signatures. Tickets will go on sale on 14th June 2026 (Sunday), from 10am onwards, via Etix.
