Just because we can’t travel abroad doesn’t mean we can’t satisfy our cravings for airline food. Following its launch last December, Santan is now ready to expand.
AirAsia’s restaurant announced yesterday (Thursday, 16th July) that a new outlet will be opening in Selangor next week. It is believed that the new Santan Cafe will debut in Sunway Pyramid on 22nd July 2020.
From the teaser alone, you’d be able to guess the outline of a lion that resembles the famous shopping mall in Bandar Sunway. This new expansion means more job opportunities! AirAsia will be able to rehire previous employees that were let go during the movement control order (MCO).
Similar to the first Santan store in Mid Valley Megamall, foodies will get the chance to taste the airline’s in-flight hot sellers. Food options include Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak and Uncle Chin’s Chicken Rice. If you’re craving for desserts – Burnt Cheesecake, Onde-Onde Cake, as well as Inside Scoop ice creams are also available.
