“This Is Bullsh*t!”: Netizen Blasts AirAsia For Rescheduling Departure Flight On Return Date

Sometimes, we try to fix things that have gone wrong, but unintentionally mess up. That certainly seems like the case for AirAsia. Instead of making things better for a customer, they might have just accidently made things worse instead!

Just yesterday (16th November), a netizen took to Facebook to complain on behalf of their friend. Apparently, their scheduled flights had gotten severely botched up, thanks to an alleged oversight on AirAsia’s part. Needless to say, he wasn’t very happy.

“This is bullsh*t!” he raged in his Facebook post. “AirAsia can do anything it wants!” The netizen explained that his friend had initially booked a round trip from Kuala Lumpur to Nanning, China. They were scheduled to fly off on 7th December and return on 12th December, with all his expenses for the trip already paid.

But, the friend later received an apology from AirAsia, announcing that their flight on the 7th had been cancelled “due to operational reasons”. “Rest assured, however, that you are still able to continue your journey as we have moved you to the next available AirAsia flight show below,” the notice read. It sounded great, save for the fact that their new departure date was 12th December.

The netizen declared the act “crazy“. “(They’re supposed to) leave on the 12th and return on the 12th?” he questioned. “Where is the logic? If you give up, you can’t get back the money you’ve paid? Isn’t that a big joke?!” He also later added in the comments that passengers were unable to change the dates themselves, hence his frustration.

Others were quick to share his frustration over the situation, with several claiming they too had suffered such indignities before. Some pointed out that they’ve since resorted to using other flight services instead.

Well, our sympathies to the poor customer. We sincerely hope AirAsia will take note of their predicament and step in to resolve it for them soon.
