Do we sense love in the air? Adele was recently spotted with someone new, just days after she filled for divorce with husband, Simon Konecki.
She was spotted with rapper Skepta, who hail from the same part of London as she did, in several dates. Skepta, real name is Joseph Junior Adenuga, is a British native from Tottenham.
Back in 2016, Skepta stated in ES Magazine that he and Adele have been in contact, “Adele texts me all the time and keeps me in check. She speaks to me about how things are going“. Adele posted a picture with the rapper in the same year, which she captioned it “Tottenham Boy” with a heart emoji.
Sources tell The Sun, that the pair have supporting each other ever since their split with their partners. “Adele and Skepta have been there for each other a lot after both their relationships split up. They have a close bond and there’s definitely a special connection. They’re spending more and more time together. Some of their friends are hoping and predicting they could end up being a great couple one day,” said the insider.
Adele is a mother to her and Konecki’s 7-years-old son named Angelo. The Grammy winner filed for joint physical and legal custody of Angelo four days after she filed for divorce, with Konecki agreeing to her request, showing that their split is seemingly eminent.
Meanwhile, Skepta is also a father to a baby daughter, Rivers, which he had with a women whose identity is unknown. The baby was revealed all the way back in July of last year where he posted an ultrasound scan on his Instagram, stating he was going to be a father for the first time. He later shared a picture of him feeding the baby girl in December.
