Malaysian actress, influencer, and comedian Norreen Iman recently went viral on Twitter, though this is not the first time she has been in the spotlight. Just a month ago, the influencer went viral for uploading a video of her confronting her travel agent. But this time, she is getting heat from netizens for allegedly “scamming” other people way back in 2018.
The influencer was caught by netizens for not carrying out her responsibilities after accepting a review job. Evidently, she shamelessly ignored the transaction even after accepting payment for the job in the first place. Three years later, her actions have come back to haunt her.

The issue was brought up in a tweet by Hanim Roslan, shedding light on Norreen’s actions. The product review supposedly cost the netizen RM80, excluding the cost of shipping it to the actress’s house. After approaching the mother-of-two several times, the Twitter user finally got a reply. But, it was not one she expected.
One day after the post has gone viral, Hanim updated her followers. The Twitter user claimed that the public figure contacted her through her DMs. As seen in the screenshots below, the netizen replied in a positive manner and did not condemn the Malaysian celeb in any way.

“Alhamdulillah. Noreen herself has messaged me to return my money. This issue is (so) old to me that I don’t even care about the money anymore. I was just sharing a story, I didn’t think people would condemn her. Nevertheless, the case is settled. I praise Norreen because she searched hard for my Instagram account, just to refund my money.”
Despite the 28-year-old’s “apology”, netizens are still angry at her actions. Many even claimed that this issue was the reason why she was scammed during her Thailand trip. One shared their own personal story, alleging that they have been scammed by the influencer once before.

Thankfully, Norreen Iman has come in contact with all of her “victims” and offered a refund. But, let this incident be a reminder for everyone out there, regardless of career, to be responsible for the jobs you’ve accepted. We wouldn’t want anyone getting in trouble.
