Last year, HK stars Cindy Au (歐倩怡) and Roger Kwok (郭晉安) made headlines after announcing their divorce. Since then, the latter has been making waves with his rumoured romance, while his ex-wife was steadily returning to the entertainment industry after a long hiatus.
However, Cindy has recently sparked her own dating rumours after she was seen in public with a mystery man. According to reports, the star was leaving a charity event earlier this week when she met up with a tall, bespectacled man. Cindy appeared beaming when meeting the man, and the two then got into a white Mercedes. The pair were later seen at a shopping mall having dinner at a Western restaurant.

Reports mentioned that the pair chatted and laughed a lot during their meal. However, they weren’t being too intimate with each other, likely because they were in a public space. After finishing their dinner, the man paid the bill and helped Cindy with her backpack. He even carried the bag while the two walked back to the car. During that moment, Cindy put her arm around the man, taking the initiative to display affection.
News outlets later contacted the 46-year-old about her relationship with the man. In response, Cindy said, “No comment, I’m just trying to keep a low profile.” However, it’s worth noting that she never outright denied the romance. If confirmed, this marks the actress’s first relationship since her divorce from ex-husband, actor Roger Kwok. The two celebrities split in 2024, putting an end to their 18-year marriage.

Cindy’s dating rumours also come after her ex-husband was said to be dating former Miss Hong Kong Hilary Chong (莊子璇). The allegations began circulating after Roger and Hilary collaborated on the new TVB drama, “Golden Forest (金式森林)”. The rumours were especially eye-catching because of the large age gap between the two, with Roger being 61 and Hilary being 23. However, the two have denied any romantic involvement.
Given that both Cindy and Roger are single, there shouldn’t be any issues if they were to get back into the dating game. Whatever happens, we wish them the best in their private lives. What are your thoughts on this?
