We do love a good teaser. If you’re a Samsung fan, you may have already heard the news: the brand is set to release a range of new products later this year, including the Galaxy Watch series, Galaxy Z Fold7, and the Galaxy Z Flip7. These latest gadgets are now available for pre-order on the official website.
In addition to unveiling its exciting new line-up, Samsung Malaysia also dropped a hint that a certain Korean star may be visiting soon. Could it be a K-pop idol? An actor? Let’s find out:
Yesterday (Wednesday, 9th July), Samsung Malaysia shared a photo on its social media pages, featuring the silhouette of a male Korean celebrity. “The arrival of an Ultra foldable demands an Ultra special guest. Any guesses? 👀 Leave them in the comments!” the company wrote in the caption. Unsurprisingly, the teaser had fans buzzing with excitement and speculating about the identity of the mystery star.
While there were a few interesting guesses in the comments, the majority, including G-Dragon, had one name in mind: actor and model Lee Soo Hyuk (이수혁). The speculation arose after fans recognised the silhouette, as the 37-year-old had posted a photo striking the same pose on his Instagram earlier this month. If that wasn’t already obvious, the “Vampire Idol” star even commented on Samsung Malaysia’s post, cheekily asking, “Who is it?”. He even reposted the teaser image on his Instagram.
While nothing has been officially announced yet, it’s clear from the teaser and the celebrity’s cheeky reply that Lee Soo Hyuk is set to make a special appearance in Malaysia for an upcoming Samsung event.
