“Deadpool & Wolverine” has brought so many happy reunions between stars who have previously worked together on projects over the years. Many famous stars made special cameos in the movie which was also the perfect opportunity for them to catch up with friends and old acquaintances.
Speaking of reunions, apparently, two stars recently met after not seeing each other for over 2 decades! Yesterday (Tuesday, 30th July), Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan shared on his Instagram that he ran into Hugh Jackman in public for the first time in 24 years.

The “Loki” star reminisced about the time both he and the Australian celeb worked together on the very first “X-Men” movie which was released back in the year 2000. “The last time I saw him was 24 years ago on the set of ‘X-Men’ when he first trained as Wolverine. He is just as nice as I remembered. Huge congratulations to him and [Ryan Reynold] and the entire Deadpool team on a record opening. Bravo 👏👏👏,” he captioned his post.
In case you didn’t know, while Ke Huy Quan was on hiatus from acting, he worked behind the scenes for many projects as an editor, fight coordinator and stunt choreographer. For “X-Men”, he helped choreograph the fight sequences in the movie. It was only in 2021 that he decided to make his return to the big screens in “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, the hit movie that earned him an Oscar.
In the aforementioned Instagram post, the 52-year-old also showed that he went to see the new “Deadpool & Wolverine” movie at the cinemas to support his former co-worker. The comments section was flooded with delighted fans who were happy to see the two stars reuniting after so many years.

With the multiverse introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), perhaps one day we’ll get to see Wolverine and Ke Huy Quan’s character Ouroboros from “Loki” interacting in a future movie. Here’s to hoping.
