Most women go through their menstrual cycle once a month. They also experience other complications such as mood swings and also menstrual cramps. Many men usually assume that menstrual cramps are just pain in the stomach during the time of the month. That said, cramps are not as simple as just pain.
Speaking of which, local actor Hun Haqeen (real name Haqeem Hermy) recently went viral after he shared his comment about the female menstrual cycle. Through a video shared by TikTok user @y2kvd, the 25-year-old was asked, “If you were to swap your gender for a day, what would you do?”
After a brief pause, Hun responded, “I want to experience the feeling of period cramps, so I can understand girls better. So, every time I see women experiencing pain during their period, I can not just sympathise but also empathise with the person.”
Many fans of the “Kampung People” star took to the comments section to gush about his honest remark about menstrual cramps. Others also called Hun a “dream guy”, and even joked that they are willing to “buy” him. Some of the comments left by them include, “I’ve told you, he’s the standard,” “He’s the real local version of ‘Oppa’,” “I would purchase a guy like him if he’s available on Shopee,” and “I’m blushing!”
