Starting with actor and radio host Fazziq Muqris, he was officially pronounced husband to influencer Sharifah Areeqa in a serene akad nikah ceremony held on 22nd November (Saturday). The ceremony, officiated by the bride’s father, saw the actor present mas kahwin valued at RM300 as a symbol of their union. The solemnisation was also broadcast live on Era FM’s Instagram, giving fans the opportunity to witness what many described as a touching and harmonious moment.
The “Project: High Council” actor looked dashing in a white baju Melayu complete with samping and songkok, while his influencer wife, Sharifah, captivated guests in a soft grey bridal ensemble. Sharing her thoughts on Threads, the singer wrote, “Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly yesterday.” She explained that it was her first time managing a wedding, adding, “It was my first time becoming a ‘mak pengantin’. It felt funny when people handed me salam kaut money (but of course it went into my mum’s bag).”
Shila also shared a humorous moment involving the couple, saying, “The funniest part was that the two of them had never attended a marriage course. Some people told them they needed to go, and they immediately panicked.” She said she was moved by the number of people offering prayers for the newlyweds, expressing hope for her mother’s long-lasting happiness. “Thank you to those who prayed for the best.
