If you don’t know who Azhar Sulaiman is then perhaps you might have heard of his daughter Kasih Iris Leona. She is currently furthering her studies in the United Kingdom. Just like any father, the actor has defended and reprimanded his children, especially Leona, over certain issues publicly.
Regardless, he has done so out of love for his children and speaking of children, he recently posted on his social media platforms to offer some advice for his 3 kids about marriage. Here’s what he said:
A few days ago, Azhar Sulaiman posted a photo of him and his 3 children combined with a photo of heavy traffic on a highway. As seen in the captions, he advised his kids on what they should look out for in a future partner. “To all my kids, whenever there’s a celebration like Raya, there is always heavy traffic. Therefore, please find a partner whose parents live in Kuala Lumpur,” the 52-year-old wrote.
The father-of-three then replied to his own post saying he’ll also accept if his future in-laws are members of any Malaysian royal family. “If they were to marry any Sultan’s children then it’s also fine cause the palace will arrange the transportation”. Netizens were all amused by the celeb’s advice with many agreeing with his opinion that having a partner whose family lives in the same state would save so much time and energy.
Of course, there were some who did not see eye-to-eye with the actor saying that those residing in the city will never get to experience what it’s like to balik kampung. Although he has a point about the hassle of going through heavy traffic during holidays, it’s very likely that the “Rompak” star was only joking.
Still, who wouldn’t want to marry into royalty right?
