Celebrity couples’ marital problems have been a hot topic as of late. One case that has been somewhat on the down low lately is actor Afiq Muiz’s divorce case with his wife. Previously, the celeb’s sister Aishah Azman came forward to defend her brother against abuse allegations made by his wife, Pachara Apin.
It looks like the story has yet to end as the actor himself has come forward to expose his soon-to-be ex-wife’s behaviour. The Kelantan-born celeb recently posted a photo of himself riding a horse on his Instagram with a caption that reads, “I didn’t expect the devil would still be around during Ramadan. Or rather, those are his followers”.
Upon seeing the post, some netizens speculated that the actor was referring to his wife, Pachara who he actually has yet to sever marital ties. One netizen, who believed the wife’s claims, wrote an angry comment accusing the actor to be a wife-beater. The 30-year-old responded to the comment to defend himself by saying, “‘Wife-beater’? She’s the one going out with other men and coming home drunk!”.
He didn’t stop there as the “Cinta Maya” star continued to declare that the public don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. Another netizen wrote a comment advising the public figure to release his wife and not delay the divorce process, to which he replied, “It’s not easy to make a decision for someone in my case. It’s hard to face the person who’s hurt you”.
Many are still not convinced that the entertainer is innocent and have been leaving more hateful comments towards him. One netizen wrote that he should still carry out his responsibilities as a husband to his wife. Fed up, the celeb replied one last time saying, “Only if she’s a good wife but she’s actually like the devil coming home drunk and being unfaithful then the bitch had the nerve to slander me.”
As for Pachara Apin, she recently shared her statement with the media that she did not slander her husband. She added that he still refuses to cooperate on the divorce case. “I didn’t slander. You’ve all seen the evidence, so I don’t need to say much anymore. I’ve said enough. We’ll wait for the next trial this 6th April,” said the Sabah-born celeb.

Tuntutan fasakh dibuat disebabkan oleh Afiq Muiz tidak memberikan kerjasama dalam tuntutan penceraian yang dibuat sebelum ini pada bulan Ogos 2022. Peguam bela Pachara, Pn.Suriati mendedahkan bahawa Afiq Muiz telah menghilangkan diri tanpa meninggalkan sebarang alamat atau lokasi kediaman rumahnya. Setiap sebutan kes juga tidak dihadiri oleh pelakon itu. Pachara ibarat “gantung tidak bertali” sejak Mei 2021 sehinggalah ke hari ini. Afiq Muiz dikatakan hilang tanpa berita dan tidak memberi sebarang nafkah zahir mahupun batin. Walaubagaimanapun, perbicaraan seterusnya akan berlangsung pada 6 April ini.
