We’re still early into 2026 and the music scene has seen some fresh releases worthy of a listen. January felt like a welcome return home to sonic textures and territories that were comfortingly familiar, but with a bit of a twist in the mix. With surprise album news and the sheer number of announcements, it can be hard to stay on top of when new music by favourite artists is arriving.
From emerging artists to mainstay icons, let’s dive into some of the latest tracks and album releases making waves in the world of music.
“Don’t Be Dumb”, A$AP Rocky
After eight years away from releasing a full studio album, A$AP Rocky has returned with “Don’t Be Dumb”. The 15-track project is packed with an all-star lineup of features, including Brent Faiyaz, Doechii, Gorillaz, Tyler, The Creator, Westside Gunn, and will.i.am.
“Aperture”, Harry Styles
Harry Styles released his lead single “Aperture” after a four-year hiatus, setting up a new and experimental tone for his fourth upcoming studio album “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally”, which is set for release on 6th March. Styles once again worked with renowned director Aube Perrie (“Satellite”, “Music For A Sushi Restaraunt”) for “Aperture”’s music video.
“I Just Might”, Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars made a return with a solo hit, “I Just Might”, along with a music video for the funky track. The song is the first preview of his fourth studio album, “The Romantic” – his first solo album in nearly a decade following 2016’s “24K Magic”, which will be released on 27th February.
“THE SIN : VANISH”, ENHYPEN
ENHYPEN’s seventh mini-album arrived as the follow-up to their mini-album “DESIRE : UNLEASH”, released just last year. The new album is a continuation of the lore of the members which started in their debut, with songs featuring woven narratives and skits done in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese.
“OCTANE”, Don Toliver
“OCTANE”, Don Toliver’s latest studio album, is rooted in his signature melodic, psychedelic trap-R&B. Built with lush, cinematic production and unexpected samples, the album is heavily inspired by Toliver’s love of cars, rally racing culture, and his desire to bottle and share his current energy.
“THE CORE – 核”, XG
XG released its first full-length album, “THE CORE – 核”, accompanied by the debut of the official music video for the title track, “HYPNOTIZE”. Featuring a total of 10 tracks, the album includes previously released songs such as “GALA” and “4 SEASONS”.
“COSMIC OPERA ACT I”, Labrinth
Labrinth released “COSMIC OPERA ACT I”, a sprawling concept album centred around the dark side of the music industry. The 12-track studio album is his first project in two years since his 2023 album “Ends & Begins”.
“SHOT CALLERS”, LNGSHOT
After previously releasing the single “Saucin”, LNGSHOT has officially made their debut with an EP album titled “SHOT CALLERS”. Out of the six tracks featured in the album, the members took part in crafting five, from lyrics and composition to overall musical arrangement.
“The Boy who cried Terrified”, fakemink
Rising rapper-producer fakemink released a new EP, “The Boy who cried Terrified”. The 7-track mixtape, a melting pot of hyperpop and trap, is his first project in almost two years. Dropping the album on his 21st birthday, he’s singlehandedly bringing back the grit of the SoundCloud rap he grew up on, only on a bigger mass scale.
