A Poem For KFC: Netizen’s Attempt Becomes A Huge Success

Chicken lovers would definitely understand the pain of not getting their favoured chicken pieces or sizes at fast food outlets. Online food delivery services have definitely made our lives easier by including a designated space to add in any special requests. These special requests include extra sauce packets, making a meal spicier than usual or stating down one’s allergies.

For fast food lovers, this would be the perfect spot to request their desired chicken pieces too. Some may succeed while others might fail miserably. However, this netizen took the extra mile to request for thigh pieces — by writing a poem.

The best part? It worked!

Facebook user, Darryl Ezreen, decided to flex his poetry skills by writing a poem just to get his thigh pieces. According to his FB post, the poem written was:

“Sekiranya KFC mempunyai jutaan peminat, saya adalah salah seorang dari mereka. Jika KFC mempunyai sepuluh peminat, saya adalah salah seorang daripada mereka. Jika KFC hanya mempunyai satu peminat dan itu adalah saya. Jika KFC tidak mempunyai peminat, itu bermakna saya tidak lagi berada di bumi. Jika dunia menentang KFC, saya menentang dunia. Saya suka KFC sehingga nafas terakhir saya. Tolong kasi saya bahagian thigh please.”

This poem translates to:

If KFC has millions of fans, I am one of them. If KFC has 10 fans, I am one of them. If KFC only has 1 fan, that would be me. If KFC has no fans, that means that I’m no longer in this world. If the world is against KFC, I am against the world. I love KFC till my last breath. Give me thigh pieces, please.

As a result, the staff at KFC (Aeon Big C4 Subang) were super impressed that they provided him with 3 thigh pieces for his 3 pieces combo order. We definitely wouldn’t be surprised if the staff at KFC Malaysia receives more poems from customers just to get their desired chicken pieces.
