Ask anyone and they will all agree, sleep is important. However, despite knowing it’s necessary, there are a variety of reasons why some people can’t or won’t sleep. In fact, one common contributor to poor sleep is simply playing with your electronic devices before bed!
Well, there’s no doubt that getting a good, restful sleep can seem like a real challenge. But, GAIAS Home is here to help with that! To encourage people to get a better sleep, GAIAS Home is organising the 100 Days Sleeping Challenge. Not only can you get some quality shut-eye, you also stand a chance to receive a generous cash reward!
We all know that our electronic devices require a good charge to ensure they are ready for us to use. However, some people simply don’t apply that logic to themselves. As such, GAIAS Home is challenging people to see how junk sleep— poor sleep quality caused by using electronics before bed— is negatively affecting their lives. And the best way to see that, is by getting good restful sleep and comparing the two for yourselves.
Here how the “100 Days Sleeping Challenge” works:
- Record your sleeping experience using all GAIAS Home products received for the
challenge - Share feedback on your sleeping experience with GAIAS in fortnightly check-ins
- Publish a story or post on any social media platform (account must be public) with the
campaign hashtag #gaiassleepers when officially starting the challenge - Publish a video (minimum 5 minutes in length) on any social media platform at the end
of the challenge, recounting your sleeping experience using GAIAS’ products
The challenge officially starts on 1st November and lasts till 20th February. If you successfully complete the 100-days, you will each receive RM2000 cash reward and a premium set of GAIAS Home’s latest products. These include a signature cotton sheet set, a Tencel sheet set, a duvet, a topper and two memory foam pillows.
GAIAS Home founder, Lee Jia Wei, firmly believes that junk sleep affects ones physical and mental health. After all, he admitted to suffering from the same issue and being a “chronic victim of junk sleep“. “It’s true what they say: quality of sleep translates to quality of life too!” he added. Lee explained that he originally founded GAIAS Home as the brainchild of his core mission to help more people sleep better.
“To me, this campaign is an extension of that,” Lee continued. “By trying our products firsthand and sharing their experiences with their friends and family, or even the world, on social media, we hope that this ‘100 Days Sleeping Challenge’ can help spread the word about the importance of both a good bed setup and a good night’s sleep.” Aside from encouraging Malaysians to see the benefits of good sleep, these public user reviews will also be used to improve and diversify GAIAS Home’s products range.
If you’re interested in taking up the challenge, feel free to apply here. Application are open until 17th October. Following that, challengers will be reviewed and interviewed from 18th to 24th October. Chosen challengers will then be announced starting 25th to 31st October.
Well, it certainly seems like a win-win deal! After all, not only will you get a good rest out of it, you stand a chance to get some worthwhile rewards. So, maybe it’s time to put away your devices, and start dreaming! For more information about the campaign, do visit their website.
