The Japan Expo Malaysia (JEMY) is proud to announce that the event will go virtual this time around!
For those interested, the exhibition will be broadcasted live on JEMY’s official Facebook and YouTube pages – aptly labelled as “The First All Japan Virtual Event In Asia”.
Organised by G-Yu Creative Co.,Ltd., CEO Yupharet Eakturapakal said in an official statement, “In line with the government’s call to embrace the new normal and maintain social distancing, JEMY 2020 is set to go online to ensure the safety of our exhibitors, artistes, staff and visitors.”
Yupharet further revealed the unique tagline of the concert, “Together We Are One”, is an effort aimed to help everyone rise against the current global challenges. “We are continuously improving technical and supporting services to enhance the online experience of all exhibitors and visitors,” she was quoted as saying.
She continued, “We vow to hold a memorable JEMY 2020 with significance through special measures in this unprecedented time and welcome all Japanese and local exhibitors with Japanese products to leverage on the flexible virtual event.”
To refresh everyone’s memory, last year’s event was held at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Attendees were entertained with a special performance by mega girl group AKB48 as well as 75 other artistes from the country. Additionally, shoppers were delighted with a perfect blend of Japanese culture, martial arts, cosplay, food, travel and education.
Mark your calendar peeps! JEMY 2020 is set to go live for 2 days on 18th and 19th July. For more info, visit its official Facebook and website.
