The queen is coming back!
Lee Hyori, hailed by many as one of K-Pop’s best acts, will be making her long-awaited comeback soon. According to her new label Kiwi Media Group, most of her tracks off her 6th full album will be self-composed.
The album is still in production, with around 10 songs slated to be included. Although various composers have offered songs to Hyori, most of them did not make the final cut. This time around, she’ll be acting as the main producer for her album. The singer will be coming up with the overall concept as well as selecting the songs herself.
To mark her comeback to the music scene after a 2-year hiatus to “have time for herself”, the charismatic star also has plans to appear on her solo reality show, “Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast”. Apart from that, she’s also looking to making appearances on various other programs.
Hyori made her debut in 1998 with the popular first-generation idol group Fin.K.L. In 2003, she dropped her debut solo album “Stylist”, with the lead single “10 Minutes” becoming one of South Korea’s most popular songs. The year 2003 was also dubbed as “The Year of Hyori” as she was constantly making headlines.
