Something unbelievable happened and we’re absolutely shocked!
A police report was lodged against a 7-year-old boy for allegedly raping a 6-year-old girl in Melaka. The victim’s 30-year-old mother, who is a single parent, filed the report on 20th July.
According to The Star, dolls were used by the police during the investigation process to record statements from the girl and the boy. Melaka CID Chief Senior Asst Comm Kamaluddin Kassim told the daily that they “have almost completed our investigation”. Furthermore, the alleged crime is being investigated under the Sexual Offences Against Children Bill 2017.
On the night of 19th July, the young victim complained of pain soon after returning from her babysitter’s house. Apparently, her mother found red marks on her private parts upon checking. She then told her mother that the “pipit” (bird) of “abang” (the babysitter’s 7-year-old son) had caused the pain. The victim also said that the boy inserted his fingers into her vagina.
After lodging the report the next day, the girl was warded at Melaka Hospital and the medical report showed that she had a fresh hymen tear.
Dr. M. Jegamurugan from Jasin said that it was possible for boys to have an erection at a young age. However, they would not be able to ejaculate until they reach puberty. “It is very rare for penetration to happen among very young boys, although there have been such cases, which are mostly attributed to surroundings and upbringing,” he said.
He also added that if a child had an erection, it would have lasted just for a while and not to the extent of penetration.
