You finally made it through a long week of phone calls, e-mails, incessant meeting, rushing to meet impossible deadlines, pleasing clients – and all that while battling crazy traffic every morning. You want to blow off some steam tonight by hitting the bar and chugging down some cold ones, but your bank balance tells you that it cannot be done. You have 2 options now; go home and cry or keep reading this article, because we have compiled some super cheap joints for you to party at tonight – and it won’t hurt your bank balance too much.

1. Beer Factory

Beer Factory have got their Factory Sale that drags the beer price down to the ground! If you come before 6pm, a mug of their Tiger beer will only cost you less than RM10. However, if you come after, make sure to bring a group because 2 dozens bottles of their Tiger beer is only RM240! Or maybe down it all by yourself, why not? For their happy hour, 5 normal mugs will cost you from RM55, and the same price for 3 big mugs.

2. Twenty Eight, Bangsar

Another strong contender for cheap beer, wine, whiskey and pretty much everything alcohol. Nestled amongst a row of bars in Jalan Telawi, Twenty Eight easily stands out with throngs of people packing the place up. During their happy hour, you can get a single mug of their Tiger beer for just RM13. However, if you miss the happy hour, the price will start at RM15 per mug.

3. Beer Garage, Bandar Sunway

Beer Garage serves you both draught and bottled beers starting from just RM11.50 per bottle/glass. If you’re going with a group, their draught towers are only RM100, while for their bottled beers, the rates start from RM55 per bucket.

The food is also absolutely affordable in Beer Garage, with the ala carte meals starting from RM9; and starting from RM12, you can order their wide range of side dishes from sweet and sour pork to Nestum chicken.

If you order before 9pm, you can get a half pint of the selected beers for only RM11 each. They also have pretty good deals for beer towers, the cheapest option would be the Carlsberg tower priced at RM70 during happy hour.
