Cards Against Humanity
Cards Against Humanity, a popular party card game, is an adults-only game for those old enough to handle the deliberately offensive, but sometimes humorous questions and responses. The aim is to pair the answer and question cards in the most amusing, provocative, or intelligent way possible.
How To Play: You need at least four players to play Cards Against Humanity.
1. Each player draws ten white cards.
2. Choose one person to start the game and they will play the first black card.
3. As the first person waits, the other players will have to choose one white card in their line-up to answer the black card’s question.
4. The first person will have to shuffle the cards so no one knows who put down which card and read the answer cards aloud.
5. The best and most hilarious answer will win a point.
6. First to get 10 points win!
Exploding Kittens
Exploding Kittens is a fun and sociable card game that does NOT include any exploding kittens – trust us. The goal of the game is to dodge or defuse Exploding Kitten cards so they don’t blow you up. If you’re the last remaining player, you win the game.
How To Play: You need two or more players to play Exploding Kittens.
1. Take out all the cards from the box and divide them into piles of the Exploding Kittens, the Defuse, and the rest of the cards. There should be 4 Exploding Kittens and 6 Defuses.
2. The deck of cards that are not the Defuse nor the Exploding Kittens are given to each player, where one player is given four cards.
3. Each player is then given a Defuse card to store.
4. Depending on how many players are in the game, put a certain number of the Exploding Kitten card in the deck. So, if there are two players, you put one card. If there are three players, you put two cards, so on and so forth.
5. The Defuse cards are placed back into the big deck.
6. Now, the fun begins here. Whenever it’s your turn, depending on which card you draw, you have to follow what the card says. The cards are divided into four categories:
- The Exploding Kitten card eliminates you immediately unless you use a Defuse card. When you use a Defuse card you get to put the Exploding Kitten anywhere in the deck.
- The Favor card means the person who played the card picks any opponent to give them a card of the opponent’s choice.
- The Nope card can be used any time during the game to stop any action except against an Exploding Kitten or a Defuse card.
- The Attack card forces the next player to go twice, and you don’t need to draw a card at the end of your turn.
- The “Double slap” and “Triple slap” cards force anyone playing to take two or three turns in a row.
- The Skip card lets you skip your turn without drawing a card.
- The Shuffle card lets you shuffle the deck.
- The “See the Future” card allows you to see the next three cards in the deck.
- The “Alter the Future” card allows you to rearrange the next three cards in the deck.
- The “Draw from the Bottom” card allows you to end your turn by drawing from the bottom of the deck instead of the top.
- Cat cards aren’t useful by themselves but can be used in Special Combos or Pairs.
- The “Feral Cat” allows you to use the card as any cat card.
7. The point of this card game is to have each player receive an Exploding Kittens card for them to lose. The last player standing wins!
Politikus
Do you want to find out if you have a knack for politics? Play Politikus with your friends to see whether your ideas and political strategies will get you elected as Prime Minister.
How To Play: You need two to five players to play Politikus.
1. In an L shape, lay the cards based on Promotion and Party.
2. Each colour represents the Politikus Party that the players are playing in.
4. On the other side of the set up, place all the remaining cards in one line.
3. To achieve Prime Minister level, each player has to move forward to win the ultimate goal. By doing that, each player must get T 200,000 and get the majority vote of most players.
We’re Not Really Strangers
This popular card game is a terrific way to connect with friends, family, acquaintances, and even strangers. You form friendships and potentially new relationships *wink, wink* while getting to know them on a very personal and emotional level.
How To Play: You need two or more players to play We’re Not Really Strangers.
1. Place the box of all levels of cards in the middle of your play area facing away from the players:
2. Each levels represents different categories. Level 1 cards are “Perception” cards. Level 2 cards are “Connection” cards. Level 3 cards are “Reflection” cards.
3. Give each player the clear plastic card written “Dig Deeper”.
4. It’s better to have a notepad with you as well, as some cards would ask you to jot your thoughts down in writing.
5. Answer at least 15 questions before moving on to the next level.
6. The aim of this game is to get to know another person on a personal level.
