Ever since YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 (투애니원) will embark on a reunion tour, fans have been trying their absolute best to secure tickets to see the group’s first show in Seoul, Korea. Even the members themselves failed to pass the queue of over 400, 000 people to buy those tickets for their own concert.
Thankfully for those in Korea, a second date was announced to allocate more fans. Meanwhile, everyone else in the world has been patiently waiting for YG to reveal more dates for the tour and their prayers are slowly being answered.

Earlier today (Friday, 6th September), YG Entertainment officially announced more dates for 2NE1’s upcoming reunion Asia tour. After kicking off their concert in Seoul, the members will be heading to Manila, The Philippines in November followed by Jakarta, Indonesia later that month. From the post, only 4 more slots are yet to be unveiled.
Fans from both aforementioned countries were obviously ecstatic after hearing the exciting news but this now begs the question, where will the iconic group head next? Will Malaysia be included on this list? As seen in the screenshots below, Malaysian fans have been flooding the comments section on the official social posts. Many were manifesting for the legends to perform in our country in 2025 as it would give fans more time to save up for the concert.

Speaking of saving up, it was previously reported that Maybank may know something about a possible 2NE1 show in Malaysia. The bank advertised their Tabung service to encourage fans to put some money aside in order to buy tickets to see the idols live on stage and users took this as a hint that the company may be involved as a sponsor for the concert.
Unfortunately, there’s still no confirmation nor hints from local concert organisers that 2NE1 might be coming here but there is still hope. The group performed in our homeland back in 2013 and CL has headlined a few local music festivals including Good Vibes Malaysia 2022 and last year’s Borneo Sonic Music Festival. With this in mind and the fact that this is the group’s Asia tour, it’s still very possible they might hold a concert here in Malaysia.
