Marshall ushers in the Year of the Horse with Emberton III Lunar New Year Edition 2026, a limited release speaker created with Chinese artist FCCK, an artist whose work has made waves across China’s music and vinyl scene. The speaker represents another milestone Marshall collaboration, bringing bold artistic vision and portable power to Malaysia’s creative communities.
The limited-edition Emberton III anchors Marshall’s “Live Unbridled” campaign – a celebration inspired by the Chinese phrase “脱缰野马” (tuō jiāng yěfcck mǎ), translating to “a wild horse that has thrown off its reins.” The concept embodies energy that refuses to be contained and freedom that can’t be broken, inviting audiences to break free from convention and amplify everyday moments.
Known for creating album artwork for local bands and record sleeves that push creative boundaries, FCCK’s distinctive approach blends illustration, graphic patterns, and typography to create a visual universe that refuses to play it safe. His striking designs transform the limited-edition speaker into a canvas as bold as the sound it produces.
With only 50 units available, the Emberton III Lunar New Year Edition 2026 is designed for portability, house visits, and hangout sessions throughout the festive season – a must-have collectible of the new year.
To kick off the launch of the speaker in Malaysia, there will be a launch event and in-store experience at Against Lab Pudu. Experience the product firsthand whilst participating in a hands-on celebration of Lunar New Year traditions with music, food, and drinks. On top of that, Against Lab will host an exclusive couplet customisation workshop – a nod to the Lunar New Year tradition of pasting personalised couplets on doorframes to bring good fortune and express blessings for the year ahead.
