Malaysian influencer Kasih Iris Leona, known simply as Leona, seemed to be taking her marriage plans seriously. Unfortunately, the young media personality doesn’t have a candidate yet, so she turned to her parents to find her Mr. Right.
Actor Azhar Sulaiman recently shared a conversation with his daughter Leona on WhatsApp. As shown in the screenshot, the influencer asked her father to pray for her during the last ten days of Ramadan to meet the perfect partner. Leona continued, saying that a parent’s prayer is the most powerful, so she hoped Azhar could help her find the love of her life. She also sent a selfie of her pouting, seeming to try to get on her dad’s good side.
Of course, being a doting father, Azhar agreed to his daughter’s request. However, his specific request for his future son-in-law has netizens chuckling. According to his response, the 53-year-old won’t pray for Leona to meet a doctor or architect but hopes she’ll get together with an accountant. Unfortunately for him, Leona isn’t too keen on the idea, playfully responding, “I don’t want an accountant”.
Funnily enough, Azhar said in a separate comment that he’s okay with his two other children, Kasih Leia Ixora and Andika Rees Pahamin, marrying doctors. As it turns out, his reason for not choosing doctors and architects for Leona is that they’re often too busy to spend time with their partners. The father-daughter duo caught netizens’ attention, with many expressing amusement over the conversation.
Some joked that accountants would soon flood the post, trying their luck with the internet personality. Others sent in suggestions for other jobs, seeing which other career Azhar would be okay with. Some netizens also praised Leona, saying she did the right thing by asking for her parents’ blessing and prayers. Many even said they would help pray for the young entrepreneur, hoping she’ll find the right man soon.
