Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun (김수현) has been cancelled after accusations emerged that he had been dating late actress Kim Sae Ron (김새론) when she was just 15 years old. Alleged text messages and letters between the two stars have gone viral on social media, sparking outrage among fans.
The controversy has also led to global brands facing backlash due to their partnership with the 37-year-old. Things are escalating rapidly and not looking good for the celebrity, with even his peers distancing themselves from him. Here are some Korean stars who are no longer associated with Kim Soo Hyun:
1. Seo Ye Ji (서예지)

In a statement released on her official fansite, actress Seo Ye Ji addressed the dating rumours surrounding her and Kim Soo Hyun. “My dearest yeyes, I’m only human. This has been overwhelming and stressful… and I’m so sick and tired of it all. It saddens me and suffocates me… I’ve been holding back, but I ended up responding to this comment. I deleted it, though,” she wrote. She concluded her statement by clarifying that she is no longer associated with him, his relatives, nor Gold Medalist.
2. Jo Se Ho (조세호)

Rumours spread that comedian Jo Se Ho had unfollowed Kim Soo Hyun on social media following the disturbing scandal. The story was later proven to be false, but the entertainer’s agency clarified that he was never close to the actor and had never followed him on any social media platforms.
3. G-Dragon (권지용)

Many have tried to drag G-Dragon into the drama after it was speculated he was close friends with Kim Soo Hyun since the latter appeared on the former’s variety show “Good Day”. Fans of the idol quickly came to his defence, saying that the two had only met for the first time during filming months prior to the allegations.
Reports suggested that Soo Hyun would later withdraw from filming more episodes and that his upcoming appearances will be limited. As for G-Dragon himself, he was caught liking a news post regarding the actor’s withdrawal which would imply that he no longer wants him to participate in the programme.
