It’s natural for people to check in on one another from time to time, particularly after the loss of a loved one. Following the sudden death of Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛) earlier this month, many have been left wondering how her family is coping.
Sadly, reports have emerged indicating that her husband, DJ Koo Jun Yup (구준엽), has been struggling in the wake of her passing. Here’s what has happened:

According to Taiwanese reports, Barbie Hsu’s husband, Koo Jun Yup, has been struggling mentally and emotionally since her death. A source close to the musician told Mirror Weekly: “He is still overwhelmed with grief, shedding tears every day. He has not been able to recover from the shock of losing his wife.”
The source added that he has been refusing to eat or drink and is still struggling to accept the loss of his spouse. “His eyes are severely swollen from excessive crying, yet he hasn’t been able to receive proper treatment. He refuses to eat or drink, which has led to noticeable weight loss,” they told the media outlet.

In addition to his declining health, Koo Jun Yup has also been struggling to organise the late star’s belongings, refusing to let go of precious memories. Family members have reached out and attempted to console him, but so far, they have not been successful. The DJ has cancelled all public appearances and upcoming performances to grieve in solitude. At the time of writing, there are currently no plans on when he’ll resume activities.
Sadly, Barbie’s husband is not the only one struggling to process his grief. It has been reported that her sister, Dee Hsu (徐熙娣), has requested a six-month leave to recover. Details of the late actress’s funeral and final resting place remain unknown, as her family has yet to make a decision on the location. May Barbie Hsu’s loved ones find the strength to get through this difficult time.
