We’ve seen many celebrity lookalikes – and some of them even use their looks to gain a social media following. However, netizens say this Faye Wong (王菲) lookalike is so on the nose that even her boyfriend Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋) would be fooled!
Recently, a XiaoHongShu user shared several photos of a female porridge store owner they met in Vietnam. However, the most eye-catching thing about the silver-haired store owner is her striking resemblance to Chinese star Faye Wong. The caption even pointed out the resemblance, writing in the captions, “I met Faye Wong in Hanoi, Vietnam. It really looks like her! What do you think?”.
The post garnered attention, with many netizens expressing amusement over the lookalike, calling her the “Vietnamese Faye Wong”. Many pointed out that the woman shared similar facial features to the Chinese singer-actress, including their eyebrow and nose shape. Funnily enough, some said that even Faye’s boyfriend, Hong Kong star Nicholas Tse, would be astonished by the doppelganger, writing, “Nicholas Tse would be stunned for three seconds if he saw her.”
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the woman gained internet fame for resembling the “Chungking Express” actress.
