After teasing fans with their new collaboration, singer Bruno Mars and rapper Sexyy Red released the music video for “Fat Juicy And Wet”. However, the viral quickly gained traction for featuring two high-profile cameos – BLACKPINK’s (블랙핑크) Rosé (로제) and Lady Gaga!
The music video officially dropped on 24th January 2025 (Friday) on Sexyy Red’s YouTube channel. It featured both artists and was directed by Bruno with the help of director Daniel Ramos. However, toward the climax, Rosé and Lady Gaga appeared striking a pose while wearing a full-black ensemble. The music video continues with scenes of the four dancing around and having a fun time.
While it might be surprising to see Lady Gaga and Rosé in the same music video, the unexpected crossover was made possible by Bruno, who collaborated with the two female artists on the songs “Die With A Smile” and “APT.”. Rosé and Sexyy Red even dance to the choreography of the K-pop star’s viral hit in the music video. It’s also worth noting that Bruno and Daniel also directed the music videos for his previous two collaborations.
Many fans have since reacted to the music video and the cameos. Many said they weren’t expecting to see Lady Gaga, Rosé, Bruno and Sexyy Red in the same video but still loved the combination. Many comments also noted the catchy rhythm of the track, adding that Bruno might soon have another chart-topping collaboration under his belt.
As of writing, it’s only been a few hours since the music video’s release, but it’s quickly gaining views on YouTube. Congratulations to Bruno and Sexyy Red on the new release, and we hope to see more of Rosé and Lady Gaga together in the future.
