With Chinese New Year right around the corner, we’re all getting ready for some of the biggest celebrations. Setting up the house, putting all our decorations on display to invite good fortune, everyone is in a good mood.
As it turns out, we’re not the only ones gearing up for the Year of the Snake. A few malls have set up amazing and adorable displays for the new year, featuring the cutest snakes ever! So here’s a list of malls to go to for some cute critters.
1. Quill City
Quill City Mall has the most precious snake figure ever. A little pink animal curled up on the floor, this snake is sure to bring smiles and fortune to any who see it. It’ll brighten your day up immediately, and it just elevates your shopping experience by that much.
2. Pavilion KL
Matching Chinese New Year’s celebratory vibes, Pavilion KL features these vibrant snake decorations. With their bright yellow and green colouring, they represent the joy that surrounds the coming year, and are definitely an omen of a blessed year to come! This snake actually has a name — “Xilele (喜乐乐)”, and happens to be Astro’s mascot.
3. Setia City Mall
One of the most adorable snakes here, Setia City Mall has a green snake amidst their other colourful decorations. This snake, much like us, has a fresh style, wearing a cute outfit for the new year, with its precious Chinese New Year hat! An absolute diva to ring in the celebrations.
4. Star Mega Mall
Ringing in the new year with a sparkle, we have Star Mega Mall’s giant golden snake. What better sign of prosperity do we have than the bright colour of wealth — gold? This snake in the Sarawak mall is the perfect representation of what we want our 2025 to be filled with, and signifies abundance and riches in our future.
5. The Exchange TRX
The last on this list, The Exchange TRX’s golden snake is situated on its perch, overlooking shoppers like a beacon of blessing showering upon anyone and everyone. This little snake may be teeny, but it’s most definitely eye-catching, and no one can ignore this animal.
