We hope you’re ready for tonight (Wednesday, 18 December), as the dynamic trio from Dream Perfect Regime (DPR) will be taking the stage at Mega Star Arena! It seems that one of the members has already arrived in Malaysia and was spotted around Kuala Lumpur. Christian Yu, aka DPR Ian (유바롬), was seen hanging out with friends, including Malaysian actress and TV personality Adriana Adnan and content creator Yaya Zahir.
From fans’ social media posts, we can infer that the musician arrived in Malaysia the same night he and his team went out for dinner. Adriana and Yaya posted several Instagram Stories showing them, along with the DPR team, dining at various locations around KL.
The first location they visited was the KampungLah restaurant in Kota Damansara. As seen in the screenshots above, Ian and his team tried teh tarik and what appears to be a barramundi fish dish with rice, or ‘ikan siakap masak tempoyak’ in Malay. What’s even more impressive is that the Australian-born rapper ate his rice meal using his hands, just as Malaysians do.
After a nice dinner, the group then visited Aftermeal Desserts Cafe, which is the same one GOT7 Jackson Wang visited the last time he was here in Malaysia. “Brought them to our favourite dessert place. We ate so much in 4 hours,” said the two Malaysian celebs. The night didn’t end there, as the next location Ian and his team visited was the Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu restaurant in Taman Tun Dr Ismail. In between travels, Ian also took the time to promote the DapoGo delivery service after receiving a special gift from them.
As for what Ian thinks of our food, he said it was spectacular. In one of Yaya Zahir’s Instagram stories, he mentioned that he loved the tempoyak dish as well as nasi lemak. We’re glad to hear that he enjoyed his meals and the night out with friends. Let’s hope the DPR member has time to visit more places in Malaysia before his next performance in Bangkok.
