Last Saturday (26th October), super idol Jay Chou (周杰倫) held his “Carnival World Tour” concert in Kuala Lumpur. Many fans shared the struggles of securing a ticket, with scalpers reselling them for up to RM25k! Because of how much fans had to go through to simply get their hands on the tickets, it’s no wonder why they insisted on going no matter what circumstance they faced that day.
News surfaced on the internet when a heavily pregnant woman went into labour right in front of Stadium Bukit Jalil while queuing up for the concert. The woman’s husband has updated netizens and confirmed the well-being of both his wife and newborn who are in healthy condition.

The woman’s husband is a man from Chongqing, China, and is currently working as a chef in Malaysia. He mentioned that his wife couldn’t bear to give up the tickets, and insisted on going knowing that she was almost due. Miraculously, she successfully gave birth to her baby even with the circumstances she faced. However, since the infant wasn’t born in a hospital, the mother of the child is currently under further observation in an isolation ward at an undisclosed treatment centre.
The chef acknowledged all blessings and well wishes given by people from the concert venue, and thanked everyone for the kind words. Thankfully, the woman wasn’t alone during the whole ordeal, as she was accompanied by her sister who also wanted to see Jay Chou’s concert. The husband mentioned that if the idol were to come back, both of them would secure their tickets again!

We’re glad to know that everyone is safe and well, and congratulations to the couple for their newborn!
