Whenever celebrities announce their marriage, it’s exciting news for fans. Many are usually keen to learn more about their favourite artist’s significant other, and their big day. However, there have been instances where fans disapprove of certain relationships due to controversial issues.
Thankfully for these two band members, their respective marriages were celebrated. Over the weekend, members of the Japanese rock band MY FIRST STORY (マイファス) took to social media to announce that they had recently tied the knot with their partners.

Vocalist Moriuchi Hiroki (森内 寛樹), monomously known as Hiro, was the first to convey the exciting news. He posted a carousel of photos of him and his now-wife Yamamoto Maika (山本 舞香). Without specifying the exact date of their wedding, the lead singer simply captioned the Instagram post, “We got married.” The couple confirmed their relationship back in July after being caught hugging each other at the band’s concert the week prior.
Rather than denying the speculations, the 30-year-old decided to come clean, stating that he and the “Assassination Classroom” actress have been living together for quite some time. “I decided to be honest. If it had been a more annoying reporter, I would have leaked the information myself first. We’ve been posting whatever we wanted on Instagram as a way for them to notice and write an article,” he stated in a YouTube video.
Luckily, things worked out in the end, as fans were overjoyed by his dating and now marriage announcements. Maika also posted photos of her celebrating both her birthday and her marriage to her husband with loved ones.

As mentioned, Hiro is not the only MY FIRST STORY member to have gotten married. Shortly after posting his relationship, guitarist Nishizawa Teruki (西澤 照貴), or Teru, replied to his tweet saying, “Me too!”. Sadly, the musician did not provide further details about his new wife or when they got married, likely to protect her from the public eye. Nevertheless, just like Hiro, fans congratulated him on this new chapter of his life.
May the band members and their spouses have a long and lasting marriage!
