Over the weekend, legendary K-pop girl group 2NE1 (투애니원) held the first concert of their “WELCOME BACK” tour. Fans were overwhelmed with excitement when the members opened the show with “Comeback Home”, followed by their debut single “Fire”. The group put on an amazing performance, reminding everyone why they’re one of the greatest K-pop girl groups of all time.
Aside from fans, countless other popular idol groups showed their love and support to the girls of 2NE1 in many different ways. Here are some of the famous faces who attended the icon’s reunion concert as well as highlights of the show:
1. Opening Act By BABYMONSTER (베이비몬스터)
During the final day of 2NE1’s “WELCOME BACK” 3-day concert in Seoul, YG’s new girl group, BABYMONSTER (베이비몬스터), performed as an opening act to congratulate the legendary idols’ comeback after a decade. They performed “Sheesh” and “Batter Up” and also expressed their feeling of honour to have performed for 2NE1.
2. Video Messages By Other Idols
During the show, celebrities including Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈), IU (이지은), TWICE (트와이스), BOYNEXTDOOR (보이넥스트도어), and many others’ video messages were displayed on the big screen to show their love and support for the 2NE1’s comeback concert.
3. YG Family Reunion

Fans were thrilled to see the number of YG Entertainment idols, past and present, who attended the show. BIGBANG’s (빅뱅) G-Dragon (권지용) and Daesung (강대성), WINNER’s Mino (송민호) and Hoon (이승훈), iKON’s Donghyuk (김동혁) and Jinhwan (김진환), BLACKPINK’s (블랙핑크) Jennie (김제니), and many others, including YG’s former CEO Yang Hyun-Suk, were among the famous faces in the crowd. The YG idols all met up backstage after the show to celebrate the iconic group’s reunion concert.
