Since leaving the sensational Malaysian girl group DOLLA and getting married, former member Syasya Rizal has maintained an active presence on social media, particularly on her personal TikTok account. Following her exciting pregnancy reveal, she regularly shares updates on her journey as a soon-to-be mother.
In a recent TikTok video, Syasya recounted an incident that occurred during a vacation in Pulau Pangkor with her husband and family. Fans were left stunned by the story, especially considering she was pregnant at the time. Here’s what went down:
Syasya began the video by sharing a short prayer that she believes saved her life. “There was this one thing that happened to me with this prayer, and I feel like it literally changed my whole perspective,” she explained. The 23-year-old went on to confess that, in her excitement of riding a bike like everyone else, she stubbornly convinced her husband to take her for a ride despite being pregnant.
Later that evening, they headed out for dinner at a restaurant that required them to pass through a forested area. Although Syasya’s mother had already warned her not to ride the bike that night, she admitted, “But me being me, I was being bullheaded,” as she insisted and persuaded her husband to hit the road on the two-wheeler anyway. However, as an exception, her mother advised her to recite the prayer she had mentioned at the beginning of the video. “I usually don’t recite that prayer, but that night, I decided to,” Syasya added, reflecting on the significance of that moment.
Not even five minutes into the ride, the couple was involved in an accident after crashing into a water pipe. “At that time, I didn’t think of anything. I only thought of my baby,” Syasya revealed. Fortunately, passersby quickly came to their aid and rushed her to a nearby clinic. Syasya wrapped up the video by sharing two important lessons she learnt that day: always recite a prayer before heading out, and never ignore a mother’s advice.
Fans in the comments were naturally relieved that both the soon-to-be mother and her baby were unharmed, recognising that the situation could have been much worse. Many expressed their gratitude to Syasya for sharing her experience, while others chimed in with their own stories of how the same prayer had helped them in similar situations.
