You would often see fans reaching their hands out whenever a singer performs on stage in hopes that they’d get a handshake. Many joked that they would never wash their hands ever again if they made physical contact with their favourite artist but how would you react if the one and only Dato Sri Siti Nurhaliza were to shake hands with you during a performance?
Over the weekend, Siti held her 2-day “Love Is In The Sky” concert at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting. The concert successfully captivated the audience by bringing them on a journey of love in the clouds and one of the highlights during the show was when the singer went down to the crowd to sing her 1997 hit “Aku Cinta Padamu”.
A fan posted her experience of touching the icon’s hand while she walked passed her seat during that specific moment of the concert. “I’m never washing my hand ever again,” TikTok user @/wafazzuan captioned her video post. The songstress can be seen shaking hands with some of the female members of the audience before going back up on stage to finish the popular love song.
The lucky fan who posted the viral clip excitedly showcased her right hand a couple of times after the physical interaction. Netizens online jokingly suggested that she should sell the specific body part, which has been “blessed” by Malaysia’s No.1 singer, online to make quick cash. Others said that she should have her hand wrapped or framed to memorialise the moment.
When asked if Siti left a scent on her hand, the fan answered that she was too starstruck to think of giving her palm a sniff after it happened. Even though the hand touch was brief, at least @/wafazzuan immortalised the special moment with Siti Nurhaliza in the form of a TikTok video.
