“Jujutsu Kaisen” lovers, rejoice! Following the success of the anime’s pop-up event a few months back, Kuala Lumpur is set to become the epicentre of anime excitement as the “Animation Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition” makes its Southeast Asian debut. Running from 16th August to 20th October 2024, this highly anticipated event will transform Fahrenheit88 into a vibrant homage to the beloved manga and anime series.
Fans of “Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦)” will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of sorcery and supernatural battles. The exhibition, featuring over 100 exclusive exhibits imported directly from Japan, promises to captivate audiences with its detailed displays and interactive elements.
The exhibition will showcase highlights from four key chapters of the series: “Cursed Womb Must Die,” “Small Fry and Reverse Retribution,” “Kyoto Sister School Goodwill Event,” and “The Origin of Blind Obedience.” Attendees can explore replicas of iconic locations from Tokyo, bringing the anime’s thrilling settings to life. Life-sized statues and cutouts of fan-favourite characters such as Gojo Satoru, Itadori Yuji, and Sukuna will be on display, providing ample photo opportunities for visitors.
In addition to visual displays, the exhibition will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the production process, including interviews with the MAPPA animation team. Over 100 character action line drawings and main character settings will be featured, offering a deeper look into the artistic creation of the series.
The exhibition will also include dedicated photo zones where visitors can pose with life-sized models of their favourite characters. Following the exhibition, a merchandise store will offer a range of official goodies, including posters, keychains, box art crystal jigsaws, and Gojo night lights.
