Time for timepieces!
One is inspired by deep arctic waters, the other, neon-lit city streets. Whichever you fancy, these new chronograph drops will level up your style and your lifestyle.
HVILINA NOMBRO HYBRID
HVILINA, a Belarusian watch manufacturer, recently launched a limited-edition collection of cyberpunk-coded timepieces called NOMBRO HYBRID.
Six variations make up the collection: SYNTHWAVE, NEW WAVE, DOWNBEAT, INDUSTRIAL, AMBIENT, and CYBER NOISE. Each has a dial colour that is noticeably different. The Synthwave model, with its fuchsia pink and purple dial that references neon light colour schemes, is a prime example of the collection’s cyberpunk inspiration. Two of the six styles – AMBIENT AND CYBER NOISE – have an IP rose gold coating; the others are available in traditional stainless steel.
The 41mm case size of the new models include an integrated metal bracelet. The hour and minute hands’ inserts and the indices both feature SuperLuminova. A date window is situated above the indices at six o’clock, and the GMT hand is distinguished from the watch face by its contrasting colour.
The watch runs on the EPSON PX85A Hybrid Automatic quartz and mechanical movement, geared with a 6-month power reserve. The caseback is fitted with tinted mineral glass, which comes in several colorways that pair well with their respective dial hues.
The NOMBRO HYBRID watch is available for pre-order through HVILINA’s official website. Each variant is limited to 350 pieces and priced at €399 EUR (~RM1,992).
Chronoswiss Delphis Sub Zero
The autonomous watchmaker Chronoswiss has unveiled a fresh rendition of the Delphis, featuring a cool colour scheme. The Delphis Sub Zero, true to its name, has an icy, alluring blue makeover, extending from the strap to the case, crown, and subdial.
A magnificent work of art, The Delphis Sub Zero captures the chill of eternal ice. This watch exemplifies the harmony of style and accuracy with its blue rubber strap and blue stainless steel case coated in CVD. The curved upper dial and subdial, which are hand-guillochéd, are expertly designed to capture ice’s timeless appeal. It also boasts retrograde minute and jumping hour complications, as well as a daring blend of innovation and design.
Within this frosty 42mm-sized case is Chronoswiss’ C.6004. This movement, which debuted in 2023, is unique due to its tungsten rotor, ruthenium plating, and Côtes de Genève finishing that radiates from the centre and echoes the brand’s iconic ray Guilloché. This intricate movement, which was created in partnership with La Joux-Perret and has a power reserve of 55 hours, is found in Chronoswiss’s upcoming line of watches.
With only 50 units available, the Delphis Sub Zero is priced at €18,400 (~RM91,867). Get your very own through Chronoswiss’ official website.
