If you ask us, Puchong has been underestimated for far too long so it’s time Malaysians know about the hidden gems located in this town that are 100% sure to give you that gastronomical experience.

1. Bumbu Bali

Start off strong with this array of tantalising Balinese food. If you’re a fan then you just have to make your way over to Bumbu Bali and experience the taste of winning a lottery. Enjoy their crowd favourites such as the Nasi Campur, Balinese Grilled Squid, Ayam Mepanggang and their tasteful array of fruity mocktails.

Vietnamese food is known to be super flavourful and is currently the trendy food for “FoodTok” where everyone is sharing recipes for pho and other delicacies. So, for those of us who don’t cook, we love to visit these restaurants that serve them fresh and authentic. 

Banh Mi Cafe is a must-visit place for those of you craving that taste of Vietnam. Try their favourites such as their Banh Mi Pork Bun, Vermicelli Grill Pork Bowl, Fried Chicken Rice, Sizzling Beef Steak with Baguette and the star of the show, the Pho Bo Beef Noodle Soup.

3. Lok Lok Street

Hidden among many other Chinese street food stalls, this Lok Lok Street will become your go-to when you need that Lok Lok fix. These Lok Lok prices are reasonable varying from RM 2 – RM 10 onwards per stick. Pair them up with the other nearby food stalls like Fried Oyster Omelette or Mini Turnip Cake and have that chill ‘Lepak’ night with your friends or family.

4. Puchong Yong Tau Fu

This restaurant has been operating for over 50 years and has become a staple for many locals near the area. They serve delicious Yong Tau Fu along with other dishes that are sure to keep you coming back, and the proof is in the number of years they’ve been open.

So, next time you’re looking for that breakfast spot, head over to Yong Tau Fu in Puchong. And, definitely try not only their Yong Tau Fu but their Curry Mee and Pan Mee.

With their generous rice portions and unforgettable flavours, Shi Yue Tian is definitely a must when you need to hit that spot that only clay pot can reach. Make sure to try their Hokkien Mee, Coconut Chicken Soup, and Curry Fish Head alone or paired with their star Claypot Chicken Rice dish.

Bak Kut Teh enthusiast, this one’s for you. You can’t say you’ve had good Bak Kut Teh until you’ve tried this place. Yap Chuan Bak Kut Teh serves up the best Bak Kut Teh, arguably better than Klang. Try their flavoured Dry Bak Kut Teh, Soup Bak Kut Teh, Yam Rice and their Otak Otak. Get ready for the best food coma you’ll ever experience.

7. Restaurant Foo Hing Dim Sum
