Great news TAEMATEs! Another K-pop star announces a world tour – and this time it’s the ever-talented soloist and SHINee (샤이니) member Taemin (태민)! The singer will embark on his world tour “Ephemeral Gaze” later this year and will head to several countries, including Malaysia and Singapore!
“Ephemeral Gaze” is Taemin’s first tour under his new management, BPM Entertainment, and he’s expected to perform all his biggest hits, including “MOVE”, “Guilty” and “Criminal”. The “Ephemeral Gaze” world tour will kick off on 31st August in Incheon, South Korea, before moving to other cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Tokyo and Singapore. The teaser poster also hinted that more stops will be announced in the future.
Taemin, whose full name is Lee Taemin (이태민), debuted in 2008 as the youngest member of the renowned idol group SHINee. He’s also the first of the group to make a solo debut, releasing his first mini album, “ACE”, in 2014. The singer is one of K-pop’s most accomplished acts and is the role model for many K-pop idols, including SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi (호시), NCT’s Jisung (지성) and ATEEZ’s HongJoong (홍중). As a solo artist, he made revolutionary movements in the K-pop scene, such as breaking gender stereotypes and supporting gender fluidity.
Taemin’s world tour is especially exciting for Malaysian fans since this will be the first time the singer will perform in the country. He’ll also be the first SHINee member to have a show here following the cancellation of fellow member Onew’s (온유) Kuala Lumpur fan meeting, originally slated for 27th July 2024 (Saturday). It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! After teasing his first concert in Malaysia, SHINee member and soloist Taemin has revealed all the important details. The “Move” singer is set to perform in Malaysia for the first time this 7th September 2024 (Saturday) at Malawati Indoor Stadium as part of his “Emphemeral Gaze” World Tour. The concert is jointly organised by Masa Entertainment, Stormex Entertainment and YJ Partners, with support from BookMyShow Malaysia as the official ticketing partner.
