The Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) 2023 results were released two days ago (Monday, 27th May) and many students has since shared their results on social media. Many celebrity parents have also shared their children’s results on social media, including media figure Liana Rosli, who went viral on social media for the unique celebratory gift she gave her son.
The entrepreneur, known familiarly as Kak KM, went viral for gifting her son a Mercedes-Benz and a cheque worth RM10,000 in celebration of his academic achievements. Her son, Mohd Faris, earned 6As in the examination. She shared the celebratory moment on Instagram, where she can be seen presenting the gifts to her son, acknowledging his outstanding efforts in his studies.
In the post, Faris stands in front of the car, beaming with excitement as the sensational entrepreneur records the moment with one hand while presenting the gifts with the other. “Your first prize is a car,” she announces as Faris’ face lights up while he receives the car keys. The mother then hands him the RM10,000 cheque, adding, “Here, this is the second gift.” They also hugged, showing their close bond between mother and son to netizens.
Surprisingly, the comment section under the post was very positive, filled with congratulatory messages from netizens. However, some did leave humorous remarks like, “I also want to be your child.” One user commented, “Whether it’s 3As or 6As, as long as he did his best,” emphasising that the effort put into achieving the results is what truly matters.
