Most K-pop celebrities are easily recognised whenever they’re out in public, especially if they’re in the middle of filming a reality series. Some have happily greeted or waved to fans who managed to spot them but very rarely would these artists run away unless they were being mobbed.
While he was not in any danger, BtoB’s Lee Changsub (이창섭) had to get away from the crowd after he was spotted at an amusement park. Here’s why:
The latest episode of “Jeongwaja”, or “Changing Majors” was uploaded yesterday (Thursday, 9th May) on YouTube where it featured host Lee Changsub spending time in Osaka, Japan. At one point during the episode, the singer visited the Universal Studios theme park where he went to check out the “Jurassic Park” attraction.
Excited about seeing the different rides and activities offered at the location, the “As Always” artist did his best T-Rex impression in front of the entrance; mimicking the iconic dinosaur. Unfortunately for the idol, he was instantly recognised by fans who were shown to be waving and calling out to him. As seen in the screenshots above, the 33-year-old got embarrassed and immediately fled the scene while still committing to his dinosaur act.
The rest of the episode showed the BtoB member visiting other attractions at Universal Studios such as the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” and the “SUPER NINTENDO WORLD”. The hilarious moment at “Jurassic Park ” went viral on Twitter where fans were amused by how the singer reacted to being recognised.
Fans mostly responded that they were actually not that surprised by the incident as BtoB members are also known for their goofy and eccentric behaviour. Some found it humorous how Changsub was only immediately recognised as he was doing something embarrassing.
