Earlier this month, fans were shocked after DOLLA announced that member Syasya would be leaving the group. Since then, rumours and speculations of why the singer decided to part ways from her label and her team have circulated online with many believing that it was due to family conflict.
It seems that the artist and her former label have put an end to the gossip as it was revealed she actually left the group to get married! Taking to Instagram, Universal Music Malaysia (UMM) posted an official statement to share the exciting news about the idol’s marriage but that wasn’t the only thing that got people talking.
In the statement posted over the weekend (21st May), UMM confirmed that one of the main factors why Syasya left DOLLA was to settle down with her now-husband, whose name was never mentioned. “May their marriage last till Jannah and we hope that this wonderful news will stop all the inaccurate speculations that have arisen,” the company wrote.
In addition to clarifying the rumours, UMM also encouraged fans to continue to support DOLLA in their future projects. The “Classic” songstress herself also confirmed the news as she posted several photos of her and her husband after the solemnisation ceremony. As seen in the comments sections, celebrity friends and even her former members congratulated her on her new chapter in life.
Prior to the marriage revelation, fans noticed that the singer had been slowly removing every post of herself with DOLLA on her Instagram. As seen in the screenshots above, the only photos remaining were sponsored posts. This obviously got fans worried and wondered if there was any conflict between the once-quartet but since Syasya replied to her DOLLA’s comments on her latest photos, it can be assumed that it’s all good between them.
Will she also remove the sponsored posts once the contracts with these brands have ended? Maybe so. Perhaps she wants to start fresh now that she’s settled down and donning a more modest look. Whatever it is, we personally would like to congratulate Syasya on her marriage and may her new life with her husband be a blessed one!
