When you’re flying, the last thing you want is to feel uncomfortable. Which is why we appreciate inflight service so much. Well, Malaysia Airlines recently received high praise from Taiwanese internet celebrity 小象爱出门Elephant GoGo for their service!
The Taiwanese content creator recently took a flight to Australia via Malaysia Airlines and was pleasantly surprised by their excellent service. However, while she enjoyed herself greatly on the flight, she did have one small issue during her flight.
Reportedly, Elephant GoGo flew from Taiwan’s Taoyuan Airport to Australia via Malaysia Airlines’ business class, whom she had never flown with before. “100 points (for their) service!” she chirped. She also shared that she had paid NT$69,000 (~RM10,252.19) for her round ticket, which she felt was worthwhile and cheap.
Upon boarding the plane, Elephant GoGo was very taken with the flight attendants. “The flight attendants are really beautiful,” she praised. “And they all speak Chinese.” She found it impressive that most of them were capable of conversing in three different languages, with some also able to speak Cantonese.
“I’ve taken many airlines,” she also shared. “Some flight attendants are always rude. Most Asian airlines have good service. They are very attentive, most of them have smiling faces and won’t act cold.” However, she did express disappointment that their in-flight entertainment did not have Chinese subtitles, even for the movies. “It’s quite a pity,” she added. “After all in Malaysia, where many speak Chinese, not having (a) Chinese (language option) is a pity.”
Still, it seems Elephant GoGo enjoyed flying with Malaysia Airlines, from delighting in their comfort, service and food. While their specialty satay only earned an “OK” from her thanks to their slightly sweet sauce, she did enjoy their dessert and bread.
Well, we’re certainly glad she enjoyed her flight with Malaysia Airlines, and hopefully, it’ll be a good choice for her again in the future. In the meantime, we hope she stays safe during her travels and enjoys her trip!
