Cantopop duo Twins Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) and Gillian Chung (钟欣潼, 阿娇) are currently having their concert tour “Twins Spirit Live In Hong Kong Since 2001” in Hong Kong. While everything has been going well for the two, a surprising incident caught many off-guard recently.
Celebrities are, unfortunately, no strangers to being victims of their fans’ whims. And many were concerned for Charlene Choi when someone pulled her in for a kiss during the recent Twins concert! But, as it turns out, Charlene wasn’t too fussed about the kiss, and she had her reasons why.
On 26th January, Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung had been performing as scheduled when something threw them and most others off their grove. While Charlene had been going around shaking fans’ hands, one fan, dressed in dark clothes and a black cap, got close enough to seemingly pull Charlene in for a kiss.
Fans immediately panicked, however, Charlene herself seemed fine and dandy. As it turns out, it wasn’t just any fan that had kissed her on the face. It was her good friend Hong Kong Cantopop singer Yumiko Cheng (郑希怡)!
Charlene had happily given Yumiko a hug, clearly excited that her friend was here, watching her concert. Yumiko, of course, made sure to clean any lipstick from Charlene’s face before she continued her performance, while wishing her the best.
Well, we’re glad that unexpected smooch incident turned out well and that we got to see a cute moment between Charlene Choi and Yumiko Cheng. For now, we wish the twins well and hope their concert tour continues being an eventful and memorable one!
