The 10-day Brunei Royal Wedding celebration finally came to an end yesterday (Tuesday, 16th January). 5,000 guests were there to witness the beautiful marriage between Prince Mateen and his now-wife Dayang Anisha Rosnah Adam (Anisha Isa-Kalebic) on their big day.

His Majesty, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah and Her Majesty, Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah were some of the many guests who attended the royal wedding and many were delighted to see that the couple had as much fun as everyone else.

A video has been circulating all over social media since yesterday that showed the Brunei Prince dancing with some of the guests which include the Agong and Queen Tunku Azizah. As seen in the video above, everyone participated in the Poco Poco dance, a popular line dance from Maluku province in Indonesia.

His Majesty was all smiles during the fun activity and Her Majesty seemed to be enjoying herself while she grooved and sang along to the song. Prince Mateen was seen trying his best to keep up with the beat. Netizens were all thrilled after seeing the video of the Royal guests and groom having a fun time at the royal dining ceremony.

Some Indonesian netizens on Instagram commented that they were quite surprised that the Poco Poco dance is also popular in Malaysia and Brunei. Others jokingly pointed out how awkward Prince Mateen seemed during the activity but were still glad to see his let loose. After all, a royal wedding doesn’t have to be so serious throughout the entirety.

The Agong and Queen Tunku Azizah doing the Poco Poco dance was not all that surprising as they had previously sung and danced on multiple special occasions. Although they are Royals, they have always been relatable thanks to their humility.
