Recently, we got a first look at the official rehearsals of the 10-day royal wedding ceremony between Prince Mateen of Brunei and Dayang Anisha Rosnah Adam (Anisha Isa-Kalebic). The Princess-to-be also stunned many with not only her looks but also her voice during her Khatam Quran ceremony.
Yesterday (Wednesday, 10th January) was the Royal Berbedak Mandi or Powdering ceremony which took place at Istana Nurul Iman. Here’s what went down during Day 4 of the exciting celebration:
Muash Portfolio, the official wedding photographer, posted photos of Anisha, donning a white dress with a veil designed by Teh Firdaus, during the the day before the ceremony. “His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen and YM Dayang Anisha Rosnah binti Adam were bathed in blessings by their nearest and dearest. Parents, siblings, and venerable elders graced this momentous occasion, enveloping the soon-to-be-wedded pair in an aura of glamour and tradition,” they captioned the post on Instagram.
On the day of the ceremony, the Royal Powdering ceremony was broadcast on TV and social media where we saw both the Prince and his bride, in traditional red and gold royal wedding attire. The ceremony was held separately and attended by the immediate family for one party only.
As seen in the photos, the arrival of His Royal Highness was accompanied by Pengiran Muda Haji Sufri Bolkiah, the 3rd son of the 28th Sultan of Brunei, Omar Ali Saifuddien III. Anisha Isa-Kalebic arrived in a traditional red and gold traditional Brunei attire with her face fully covered with a red veil as she walked in. The veil was then lifted as soon as she sat down on the throne before proceeding with the powdering ceremony.

Fans on social media all commented about how stunning the Prince and future Princess looked during the royal ceremony. According to the announcement back in October, the couple will soon be officially married later today (Thursday, 11th January) at the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque which will then be followed by the reception and parade on Sunday (14th January).
