If there’s one thing moviegoers look forward to every year, it’s superhero movies. We’ve had a ton of amazing (and not-so-amazing) movies released last year and although the number of movies coming out this year may not be much, they are still something to be excited about.
In order of release, thanks to Marvel and DC, here are the superhero movies that you definitely don’t want to miss out on this year!

5. “Venom 3”
Cast: Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor
Release Date: 8th November
The plot of the third instalment remains unknown but it has been speculated that it will at least briefly touch on the end-credit scene of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” where a piece of the symbiote Venom was left by Eddie before being transported back to his universe. From the last movie, it has been implied that Stephen Graham’s cop Patrick Mulligan is not dead but instead being controlled by another symbiote so the movie could pick up right where it left off.
Honorable Mentions
“Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-verse”
Cast: Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Oscar Isaac, Jason Schwartzman
Release Date: TBA
“You thought that you’ve seen every Spider-Person that you could imagine, but not every Spider-Person we can imagine. It will be a very satisfying conclusion. It goes even more emotionally deep into the relationships between Miles, Gwen, Peter B., [and Miles’] parents” – Phil Lord (Producer).
