(Video) “I Drove My Mercedes Here”: Customer Slammed For Flexing During Wrong Order Complaint At Sepiring Outlet

It’s disappointing whenever we don’t receive the food we ordered but most people would either simply let it go or just file a complaint via the food delivery app. However, there have been times when customers lash out at food servers for getting their orders wrong.

Some will even take the trouble to drive to the outlet to yell at the restaurant employees for their incompetence. This customer, however, probably should’ve just kept some things to himself while he was complaining about a wrong order as it backfired on him online.

All OK until “i drive my Mercedes..”

Yesterday (Wednesday, 13th December), Twitter user Amer Al-Jeffrey reposted a video from TikTok of a man expressing dissatisfaction with the food he received from Sepiring. According to the video, the man did not receive the food he ordered despite there being a receipt on the paper bag. He took the trouble to travel to the outlet to complain about the issue.

The angry customer approached the staff members and demanded that they replace the food in the bag with the one he actually ordered. His demands to replace the food seemed reasonable enough, that is until he said, “You’ll have to pay for my petrol and Touch ‘n Go too! I drove my Mercedes here and took all this trouble just to replace the food! I want to see your manager”. At the end of the video, it was said that he did not meet the manager but received RM20 compensation.

The reposted video on Twitter went viral with netizens criticising the customer for being entitled. Many said that the man didn’t have to trouble himself and drive to the outlet as he could’ve just asked for a refund via the app. Others believe that there was no need for him to “flex” on the kind of car he drives; unless his intention was to feel superior. Some also commented that he could’ve approached the situation in a mature manner.

As for which Sepiring outlet this particular incident took place, it was not specified in the tweet but it’s been speculated that it was the one at DPulze Shopping Centre. While it’s completely understandable why the customer was angry, netizens do have a point that he should’ve thought this through before going losing his wits over something so trivial.
