Another week, another whirlwind of totally EXTRA events! We were here, there and everywhere!
We were ‘sleighed’ by MyTOWN Shopping Centre’s Christmas campaign launch, felt an electric connection with Mercedes-Benz at its latest launch, put a ring on it at Cartier’s Pavilion KL boutique, and MUCH, MUCH MORE! Cartier’s Revamped Pavilion KL Boutique Launch
The newly-renovated Cartier boutique in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is nothing short of spectacular. The redesigned duplex marries unique Malaysian heritage with distinctive Cartier codes to create a true celebration of culture and craftsmanship. Visitors can find intricate Bunga Raya motifs that are hand-carved onto a large piece of limestone, and golden-finished Hibiscus flowers on its walls.
Another highlight is a captivating bas-relief of the Panthère sitting in a lush landscape – of local flora and fauna, such as pitcher plants, Rafflesia flowers, and banana trees – as it watches over the sparkling diamonds in the Bridal Area at Level 2. Customers can request privacy at one of the three VIP salons that showcase designs reminiscent of Malaysia’s tropical rainforests.
The grand re-opening ceremony was officiated by the French Ambassador to Malaysia, His Excellency Axel Cruau and Pavilion KL’s CEO, Dato’ Joyce Yap; accompanied by Anne Yitzhakov, Managing Director of Cartier Singapore, ASEAN and Malaysia; and Antoine Berardi, Country Manager of Cartier Malaysia. The celebratory event was graced by Malaysian celebrities such as Datuk Nicol David, Scha Al-Yahya, Jane Chuck, Han Pin Ma, Daiyan Trisha, Hun Haqeem, Nadhir Nasar, Lisha Ho, May Ho, Alton Ang, Ameera Khan and Eyka Farhana.

Grand Opening Of Le Lumiere @ The Exchange TRX
It was a sparkling extravaganza as renowned luxury fashion house Le Lumiere unveiled its newest flagship boutique at The Exchange TRX. During the opening, VVIP customers, local celebrities, KOLs and the media witnessed an exciting fashion show, where models showed off Le Lumiere’s bespoke collection, which included the Emerald Enchantment and Exquisite Singularities. In addition, guests had the opportunity to admire the Christmas and much-anticipated 2024 collection up-close.

A few days ago, the adidas team invited members of the media and influencers to Glasshouse at Seputeh to participate in an invigorating Active Boot Camp, where participants got to sweat it out in an early morning HIIT workout. We were then rewarded with fresh juices and fruits, as well as healthy yogurt.

Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4MATIC SUV Launch
We swung by Menara Hap Seng to welcome Mercedes-Benz’s all-new electric vehicle to the Malaysian market: the EQE 500 4MATIC SUV. This luxury hatchback car features a sporty exterior with 55.9cm AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels and adaptive digital headlights, while the insides have an avant-garde design with a panoramic sunroof and wooden trim elements with a Mercedes-Benz aluminium inlay pattern.But aesthetics isn’t the only thing this beast has to offer, as the EQE 500 4MATIC SUV is capable of going from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds thanks to its dual-motor setup and 400-volt lithium-ion battery. Though it is larger than most cars, this EV is incredibly nimble thanks to its rear-axle steering, enabling it to manoeuvre on city roads. During the media launch at Altitude, we had the chance to participate in a Bubble Bar workshop, where we got to make a golden bath bomb from scratch. It was a fun process of mixing the various ingredients together and shaping it into a glittering bath bomb. After that, we were treated to Altitude’s festive Afternoon Tea. From Chawanmushi and Scottish Smoked Salmon in a bagel to Dark Chocolate Mousse and Passion Fruit Cheesecake, the set ticked off every box in our list of dessert heaven.

Good Virtues Co. X Rico Rinaldi Collab Launch
We got a preview of the new Good Virtues Co. collaboration with local designer, Rico Rinaldi! This collaboration marks the first partnership for the Malaysian fashion label, known for its beautiful modest wear. The launch event at Jio Space showed us the newly-designed packaging for the personal care brand and treated us to a Rico Rinaldi fashion show featuring designs inspired by Good Virtues Co.’s signature floral design. The collection celebrates style and diversity – emphasising that true beauty comes in all forms. The collection is now available on the official Rico Rinaldi website; and the Good Virtues Co. products, featuring the new packaging, are now available at Watsons stores nationwide.

MyTOWN Shopping Centre’s ‘All I Want For Christmas’ Launch
MyTOWN Shopping Centre just launched their Christmas campaign that’s inspired by classic holiday hits! Aptly titled “All I Want For Christmas”, the campaign conveys the spirit of Christmas and the joy of giving and receiving this holiday season. At the launch event, we got to taste some sweet treats from Wolf Gelato; and got crafty to create snow globes. The night continued with the Christmas train lighting ceremony, followed by performances by a marching band and a dance troupe. Needless to say, we felt the festive spirit that MyTown is offering its visitors – so if you want to add an extra dose of merriment to your holiday, head over to MyTown Shopping Centre!

We sank into buttery goodness when The Chicken Rice Shop’s Grilled Butter Chicken came back, by popular demand, for the holiday season.
