CCTVs have always been very useful for security purposes. Unfortunately, others have been using it for more malicious reasons. Take this mother-in-law, for example. Not only did she invade her son and daughter-in-law’s privacy, she humiliated them in front of their neighbours!

For centuries, there have been stories of mother-in-laws and daughter-in-laws not seeing eye to eye. Yet, this lady’s story takes the cake after she shared how her mother-in-law set up CCTV in her and her husband’s room to spy on them.

Taiwanese journalist 许圣梅 (Xu Shengmei) recently shared this lady’s story on the entertainment program “震震有词”. Apparently, the lady had been living with her husband’s family after they got married and had a son with her husband. Initially, she had no issues living there, but everything changed one day after an illuminating chat with the neighbours.

Mid-conversation, the neighbour told her: “Your sister-in-law said you look like a slut when you take off your clothes.” The unexpected comment caught the lady off-guard, but things got stranger when the neighbour went on to describe the sex she had with her husband in great detail. Horrified, she questioned the neighbour who then admitted: “We all watched the video.”

The lady immediately spoke to her sister-in-law who told her there was a CCTV in their room, filming their daily life. Allegedly, her mother had installed it and had been watching the couple. After telling her husband, they confronted the mother who claimed she hadn’t meant to spy on them. “You just gave birth to a child and I was afraid you didn’t know how to look after him,” she said.

Needless to say, the explanation did not go down well with the couple. They quickly moved out of the house and found another place to live. The lady also claimed: “I will never forgive my mother-in-law, no matter what.”

The story left many in disbelief, especially over the mother-in-law’s shameless actions. A lawyer later commented that the lady had grounds to bring the mother-in-law to court, if she wished, for secretly filming and sharing the sexual footage.
