We often dress to impress. However, this lady in Kota Kinabalu apparently decided she could achieve the same effect in her underwear and nothing else.
Photos of a lady strutting the streets of Kota Kinabalu with her breasts and butt exposed have been making their rounds. Unsurprisingly, authorities are not about to let such an incident slide.
According to China Press, Kota Kinabalu district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaidi claims the photos of the lady in her underwear had begun to go viral on the internet yesterday (19th October). The photos were reportedly taken on Jalan Gaya Street, Kota Kinabalu. Police believe the lady involved might be a tourist.
Two of the photos, taken at night, allegedly showed her standing in public areas, lifting her clothes up and exposing her breasts and buttocks. Another two photos taken during the day showed her wandering the streets without her clothes, and dressed in only her underwear. Notably enough, she was pulling a suitcase behind her as she walked.
Police are currently investigating the case under Section 294(a) of the Penal Code (obscene acts in public place) and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. They have also asked the public to contact the investigating officer, Inspector Nur Hatin Amera Mohd Khir at 011-12939436 if they have any information on the matter.
Well, we can’t deny that the lady’s clothing choice, or lack of it, is certainly a bold one. But, there is a time and place for everything, including strutting around in your underwear.
